How does billing and payment recovery work?
Payments are collected automatically on the billing cycle you choose; monthly, annual, or every four weeks. If a payment fails, Digitail notifies both the clinic and the pet parent immediately. The pet parent can pay the outstanding invoice or update their card directly from the Digitail pet portal, without any manual follow-up from your team.
How are discounts and service limits managed?
Automatically. When a covered service is added to a SOAP or invoice, the eligible discount applies and the benefit usage counter updates in real time. Your team never needs to manually track remaining benefits or remember to apply a discount, the system handles it at the point of care.
